Project co-founder Oliver with the Titans of Caspar, a many centuries-old trio of Coast Redwoods--Sequoia sempervirens--that live less than a mile from his house.  They are dubbed, from left to right, Elizabeth, Elderberry, and Baby Bear, reside less than fifty yards from a popular trail, but are almost entirely unknown.

Shandor, a wolf Redwood, is home to my treehouse. You can climb to the very top, which is about 50 feet up.
